We May Be Going in a Handbasket, But It'll Be a Fun Ride

It's not everybody that can be sentenced to eternal damnation and have fun with it. A week after the Catholic Church issued seven new deadly sins -- which included genetic experimentation -- members of the GTO community are taking the opportunity to think about scientific morality. At Sciencebase, David Bradley offers his list of Seven Deadly Sins for Scientists; they include plagiarism, vanity, and procrastination. He's only got six sins on his list, though, and commenters are having a field day suggesting the seventh.

Meanwhile, if you're going to hell and proud of it, show off your stuff with one of these new T shirts from MIT, pointed out by Jason Kelly at his Free Genes blog. Undergrads in a biological engineering class came up with the designs, which feature a number of animals making the noise of another kind of animal.
