Now, Would You Actually Use It?

Google Health has officially launched, and Deepak is on it with a review and screen shots. While most of the buzz sees it as a well-crafted site, bloggers wonder what use it will be to the average consumer. Thomas Mailund doesn't see much point to it ("I trust my physician and would want him to figure out what medicine I need, if any"), and Neil Saunders wonders how much information you'll need to input for it to be useful. At TechCrunch, they compare it to its biggest competitor, Microsoft's HealthVault, explaining that it'll focus more on the consumer side at first. "It is trying to do an end-run around the health establishment by trying to get consumers to manually load their own medical information into their profiles."
