Sharing Proteins Just Got Easier

WikiProteins is now in beta test mode, according to a paper published in Genome Biology today. WikiProteins is part of the WikiProfessional project, importing data from several large protein databases and expecting users to both contribute to and curate it. "But the success of the project will largely depend on its ability to attract biologists that feel a sense of ownership regarding a topic and make sure any changes to it are accurate," writes John Timmer at Ars Technica.
