Layoff Rumblings

Derek Lowe at In the Pipeline says he's "getting reports of significant chemistry layoffs coming this fall at Pfizer’s Groton facility." He suspects that the biology division will also be hit, adding, "There's nothing on the news wires about any of this, so it's not at the official announcement stage, but people seem to be getting braced."

Whether it's true or not, it can't be any fun working for a place that everyone else has negative speculations about. Sorry, Pfizerites.
